We Share Our Mother's Health by The Knife. Kino is my preference. He can cover a 50 Cent song for all I care if he would come down under.

Definitely some Destroyer: "What Road" or "An Actor's Revenge". Beyond cool, too, if he were to do some Veda Hille: "Instructions" or "Plants". ( www.myspace.com/vedahille) Stephen Merritt, anyone? e.g. "Fido" or "Long Forgotten Fairytale"

Devotchka - How It EndsI'm so into that song right now... and it's loopable! ooh. hmm. (me joining the fun:) you know, everyone in the "blogosphere" wants to make mad, sweet love to the song Young Folks by Peter, Bjorn and John. including Ed Droste. and myself. and i think that would be kindasorta neat.

Speaking of Ed Droste...everyone seen this? Grizzly Bear impersonating Jose Gonzalez covering the GB song 'Knife'. Owen should do a cover of Grizzly Bear impersonating Jose Gonzalez covering 'Knife'. Failing that, he should just do a straightforward cover of 'Knife'. It's loopable, surely, and it's damn good.

I'd love to see an energetic rendition of 'Come On Eileen'.

I now want him to make a song out of a Pilip Glass composition (Pruit Igoe) And I still won't be able to die happily until he does 'Battle with Gilgamesh' by Nobuo Uematsu (Owen, I'm coming to Gent )

I realize this is going to sound ridiculously odd and cliche, but I can hear a sweet, sweet Final Fantasy version of 'Stand By Me'...
