Sunday night Owen played a show in Windsor, and there was one song in his set that I didn't quite recognize. I re-listened to both albums carefully, but still can't figure it out. Instrumentally, it was probably most similar to "Chronicles of Sarnia," but the lyrics don't seem to match up. The only lyrics I could really make out were along the lines of, "flowing down the river to the place you return to," and "i've been sad because all my friends resent me."
The reason why I ask is because I recorded the show, and wanted to make sure all the song titles and information were correct before sharing it with my 3 friends who also attended the show with me. So while I'm asking for help identifiying that song, I might as well ask if anyone knows what the official word is regarding the sharing of live Final Fantasy recordings? Can I also share it with all of you, or must I keep it like a closely guarded secret?

sounds like "hey, dad!", from my shaky memory. biggest clue is if it's got the same melody as "--->" from he poos clouds!

Fantastic, and thank you again! Not only does "Hey Dad" now make sense from a lyrical standpoint, but it was also the 3rd song in his set, just as it was during those 3 shows in England that were posted. I shall now finish preparing the recording, and post a download link very soon! Edit: As promised, this is a copy of the show from Windsor. Unless I had a mental block, all the other songs should be labelled correctly. I recorded at the same volume throughout the show, but I believe "Your Light Is Spent" sounds a little bit low, and "Fantasy" has bits of static because the sound coming through the PA system sounded a little bit louder than during the rest of the show. Or perhaps Owen's energy was running higher during the encore. Otherwise, I think it sounds pretty good for a non-soundboard recording. Extra credit goes to Ryan Fields (of the local band, Yellowwood) for doing a fine job monitoring the mixer, and keeping the levels balanced. Harmony Trowbridge and Alex Lukashevsky opened the show, so you'll hear Owen refer to them at various times throughout the set. 01. That's When The Audience Died 02. This Lamb Sells Condos 03. Info about the show was only posted 1-2 days in advance on the Windsor shows section at Stillepost, and there was a MySpace bulletin posted by the Phog Lounge account. Tom, one of the owners of Phog, hosts a radio show after mine on CJAM, so I knew that Owen was booked to play sometime in July, but Tom would never reveal the exact date to me (and to think that I call him a "friend!"  ). Since I didn't know about this message board until the day after Owen's visit, the show info didn't get posted here. Plus, I never would have expected to find another Windsor resident on this board. When I see Tom tomorrow, I'll yell at him on your behalf for being so secretative about the show info.
