(A bit off topic) I'm a bit of a nerd, so I've played quite a few Final Fantasies in my day. I'm also a bit slow because I JUST made the connection between the band and the game( : . To those of you who've played a few, what was your favorite one?

Its hard for me to bring myself to a favorite. Ive been asked time after time, and depending on mood, either 4, 7, or 8 become my answer.
4 - Amazing story and unforgettable everything 7 - Charecters I loved and always will 8 - Crush on Squall and best love story for FF

After not playing it for five years, I am playing VII right now. Mostly so I can get the story in mind again before watching Advent Children.
I don't know if VII is my favourite though. It might be VI, but I haven't played that in an even longer period of time and have almost no memory of it.

I think everyone just missed the charecters so much that the producers assumed anything would fly. It was badly done in my opinion.

Well wasn't Cloud the main character in Advent Children? I still haven't seen all of it.

It had little plot and not enough cheesy poorly translated jokes. I like 6, the more characters the better, i mean come on you get mog.

Definatly Final Fantasy Tactics. I like the epic and complex storyline. On the other side of that, FFII (american) was one of my favorites, can't really say why.

6 is the best. I would go so far as to call it my favourite RPG of all time.
Which admittedly isn't saying much, RPGs are not the most stimulating way to spend time at a computer. But then again, neither are message boards. See ya!

6 is the best. I would go so far as to call it my favourite RPG of all time. I had a friend who thought so too. That is, until he played Xenogears. After playing it I was tempted to agree. I recommend it if you haven't tried it yet.

FFVIII had the only story that rose above the usual mediocrity of video game-storylines. It should have been a movie. I also think it has the best music…especially Liberi Fatali and Waltz for the Moon are some of the most memorable tunes in video games since the main theme in Link’s Awakening

I'm actually about to start the second one. The first one was great, so I'm excited to play the next one. ^-^
