He had shirts at the Boat, they were neat and individually altered but all really small. I don't know what made me think I could possibly fit into the one I bought. One track for now, the rest later this weekend, hopefully... s52.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=15UCZE2CPHJFT3DBOMFSUZB5QEYou, sir, are the man.

Hi everybody!
I fired the string quartet! They are not coming to Europe.
"Fired" is perhaps too strong a word. Through a series of e-mails and phone messages, we all agreed that touring with a harpsichord and string quartet was overzealous. So, there will be no string trio and no harpsichord.
I mean, have you heard what Antony requires for every show? Have you seen his ticket prices? He's not a diva! It's just expensive carting cellists around!
Also, I've toured with three "more than five band-member" bands and it's tiring. So many demands! So much whining!
And as the recording can attest, the new sound is good but it sounds more like "sheet music" than "magic!"
So it will continue to be a solo show for now, with perhaps some additional stuff.
(On a more positive note, I am immensely proud of the new record, for the first time in my life I am proud of something! It's embarassing!)

Thanks for sharing that Moogle. It's brilliant, really great recording. Owen, you should sing loud more often, like in Song Song Song. Not to say your normal 'quieter', more restrained sound isn't great but the loud stuff is really good too. Is that synthy-sounding thing in That's When The Audience Died a sample from somewhere? It sounds incredibly familiar but I can't place it..

dropping the string quartet wasnt too bad of an idea... its neat and all but Final Fantasy is far better as some guy with a violin and looping pedal

two live videos from this show: "This Modern Love" cover + Laura Barrett's song "Robot Ponies" both definitely 'magic' and not 'sheet music' www.apertureenzyme.com(download them to your computer, use quicktime to view, they're mp4 files)

oh waow!
I'm so "used" to the live version of This Modern Love with drums that, when I heard this one I thought the quartet was playing along!!! I'd never had the opportunity to hear all the re-arrangements done to the cover with Owen playing alone.
Nice job!!!
Thanks for filming and sharing too!
