There's a launch party for Eric Warner's Over The Top Festival on January 11th. It's in Toronto, at the Great Hall, I believe. Tickets are already on sale for $12 or something.
The lineup is Final Fantasy + St. Kitts', Akron/Family and Great Lake Swimmers.
I don't know why Final Fantasy is headlining a show with far superior bands opening. As a result, I'm "making an effort!" It'll be the first show with the expanded instrumentation and band.
I'm going this weekend to pick up my father's old harpsichord, and do some overhauling on it. Harpsichord! What fun. We'll do some Left Banke and some Zombies, maybe. Sure!
So any songs you want to hear? They'll be worked out. We're going to do our best to get "non-playable" songs like He Poos Clouds and Furniture arranged for the date.
And if it sounds sucky, well, there's still two amazing other bands to cover our asses.
Hope to see you there!

I hope I can make it up. Akron/Family are fantastic live, for anyone who has not heard them yet.

too bad there's no way I could come!
but if I may confirm your suggestion to play Furniture: that song deserves the right to go out there, away from home speakers, and hit the road ( ::)something around those lines, sorry, english just isn't my mother tongue).
Well I guess we'll have some feed-back anyway!!!

awesome show akron/family were insane and final fantasy was amazing even with the out of tune harpsichord. Owen didn't play long enough though, he was like "this is the last song" and i was like what?! and why no t-shirts?(I'll design some for you if you want, I'm an art student)

He had shirts at the Boat, they were neat and individually altered but all really small. I don't know what made me think I could possibly fit into the one I bought. One track for now, the rest later this weekend, hopefully... s52.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=15UCZE2CPHJFT3DBOMFSUZB5QE
