I was thinking about why Has A Good Home is maybe my most-listened-to album ever. Then I went about my business and started listening to some Renaissance music (you know, lutes and recorders and such), and then I realized the connection between the two (beyond the obvious commonality of stringed instruments). Both Renaissance music (which I love) and Has A Good Home have extremely clean, clear, flowing melody line that approach perfection and are unlike anything else.
