If you live in Ontario or the Maritimes, PAY ATTENTION! My roommate Jessie, who is a brilliant songwriter and her shows are fun and wonderful, is going on tour with her band the S.S. Cardiacs. Does anyone know where I could get these tracks now? SS cardiacs never released an album, and the website is inactive. If it's anywhere near as good as the Luyas, then I simply must find it.

I'll probably want to head back to 18th Dec 2003 and 16th Jan 2004 as well, so we could make it a bit of a cultural expedition as well. |

The *best* SS Cardiacs record is one called "Mersault Saw Sun", which hasn't been released. The Luyas' "Faker Death" is excellent. I've had the privilege of hearing some demos for new Luyas material... well... I don't want to be hyperbolic... but it's spectacular.

I've had the privilege of hearing some demos for new Luyas material... well... I don't want to be hyperbolic... but it's spectacular. Damn..why do you just have to have that unreleased record that I've been trying to find? It's just so not fair, it will be sitting at the back of your iPod in a few years gathering dust. I think there so much good music still pouring out of Canada and glad to hear that the new Luyas is spectacular, spectacular. Oh well I'm off to see the Skeletons soon so  |

Yeah, but then I'd have heard the entire career of Final Fantasy and be discussing songs that haven't been thought of yet. It would all just get confusing. I'd also have nothing left to look forward to, but then I suppose at least I'd have next weeks winning Lotto numbers ;D ..now where did I leave those blueprints? |
