At the request of someone who shall remain nameless his name is Robert Paulson his name was Robert Paulson his name was Robert Paulson :-) as for the video link, i didn't have a chance to check the link (i'm not at home - i'm on my phone, so i couldn't watch it), and of course, i see no problem with people posting stuff that is readily available on a site like youtube. As for the actual video though, Robert Paulson (not Jamie, actually) sent me a really heartfelt email after the first linking of the video asking me to cut it. i'm not trying to be a dick, but the xiu have not only worked really hard on this album, but they've obviously worked really hard on keeping this stuff from leaking, and while i don't necessarily agree with them on their approach to the whole file sharing/internet "problem", they're more than my favorite band, and anyone who has spoken to me in depth about it understand how incredibly important jamie/the xiu's music is to me, so i'll help out when i can - even if it makes me a little unpopular here. so go ahead - feel free to rip into me |
