www.youtube.com/watch?v=efaodv7ZNp8 horrible quality of ceremony. i ended up shivering with joy during most of the song. i think this song should just be xiuxiu's now. it really was never much more than a demo for JD, and NO and wha,t galaxie 500? are aenmeic. good show cept for the tall guy in the front. most xiu xiu la fans seem to be wee.

personally, i don't have an issue with tall people generally. i'm pretty tall for a girl (5'9"), so i'm okay with letting people deal. at the last show, there was this guy who was at least a whole head taller than me though (probably like 6'8" or something) and he was annoying because he kept saying how didnt care about the music, and then his friend who was about my height started dancing really exuberantly and maybe was drunk and taking videos with his phone during sunset rubdown's set. so i finally pushed my way between them because there was no way i would let him do that.
in conclusion, tall people are allowed in front if they actually care about the music and arent annoying.

Sorry if i sounded really defensive, but i've gotten shit for this before. If i'm not that into an artist, i'll stand towards the back, and i'll often offer the spot in front of me to shorter people, and i usually try to stay towards the sides of the stage, but if it's an artist that i really dig, then i'm going up front, and if it bothers you that much, and you really want to see someone, you should have gotten your spot before i did

Sorry if i sounded really defensive, but i've gotten shit for this before. If i'm not that into an artist, i'll stand towards the back, and i'll often offer the spot in front of me to shorter people, and i usually try to stay towards the sides of the stage, but if it's an artist that i really dig, then i'm going up front, and if it bothers you that much, and you really want to see someone, you should have gotten your spot before i did being tall myself ive thought of this before and came to the same conclusion. more seriously, im disliking what i call the jock xiu xiu fans, who come to a show and say "geez i hope they play clown town and dont play fab muscles." i liked the air force, but i miss a bit of the xiu xiu that was embarrassing as it was titillating.

jock xiu xiu fans? i've never fun into those. just the kids who got into them when fabulous muscles came out and forgot about them during la foret and the air force.
so they just want to hear "i luv the valley."
oh, the last show i went to, some girls made brownies for jamie. but they weren't vegan. so he turned them away.
