I mostly just want to know what song it is.(and of course, listen to it, if it was worth it)
I'd cream my pants at the chance to hear Wes Eisold wailing out "I AM GOING TO CUT OPEN YOUR FOREHEAD WITH A ROOFING SHINGLE!!!"
Edit: holy shit! i love the valley, oh! by XO Skeletons! hot damn. hot damn. i am as happy as a schoolgirl. someone upload this. PLEASE!

Review from Skyscraper #24
Xiu Xiu Remixed and Covered 2CD - 5RC
Slim Moon's wife Portia Sabin, kisses 5RC goodbye with an ambitious, if bloated, homage to the label's most prolific discovery, Xiu Xiu, the bloat, of course, stems from the fact that cover albums universally surround a few terrific interpretations with ill-conceived garbage. Does anyone really want to listen to Why? butcher "The Wig Master"? No, they'd rather listen to Xiu Xiu's The Air Force in it's entirity. And therin lies the central issue surrounding cover albums: fans inevitably feel an allegiance to the originals, leaving Remixed and Covered to collect dust alongside Where is My Mind: A Tribute to the Pixies and that ThreeOneG Birthday Party tribute. So here's a cheat sheet, Oxbow, the only band on the planet as disturbingly creepy as Xiu Xiu, turns turns "Saturn" into a penetrating acoustic torment. Spencer Krug's best project, Sunset Rubdown, quietly re-envisions "Apistat Commander." Finally, fast forward to the last track of Devendra Banhart's transformation of the powerful "Support our Troops, Oh!" into a Richie Valens-esque finger snapping ditty. As for the remixes they're actually pretty great, but that's probably because Jamie Stewart and Caralee McElroy are still implicitly involved. It's not perfect, but it's a more fitting sendoff then, say The Advantage burying 5RC with a cover of "Bowser's Castle." (Jerimiah Griffey)

I Love the Valley by Her Space Holiday is pretty terrible. =(
Larsen's "Mousey Toy" and the Sunset Rubdown tracks get the most play from me. Oh and the Nadler one, too. And Why?'s.
