Dustin kensrue - Please come home (supposed to be out in '07, but itunes started selling it sometime in late december, so i'm counting it.)

converge - no heroes

lucero - rebels, rogues, and sworn brothers

cat power - the greatest


...those were really the only albums to come out in '06 that really stuck with me
