robert made what we call a joke. we were talking on the phone when he posted that, matter of fact.
what you said was clearly not a joke. it was said to intentionally stir up personal feelings of being attacked.
going as far to call me a melodramatic attention whore is a bit much, since i never recall "crying for help" or even bragging about certain things that people have a problem with me answering.
there must be a mix up between broadcast and reception because if people are going to ask me a personal question on a public outlet, i'm going to answer.
i can't believe some people actually had a problem enough with me posting on the xiu xiu site to bring it to my attention.
this shit is getting ridiculous. i've gotten two borderline threatening phone calls from people who i've never even talked to before in my life. one message with no call back number where a man just said "what what you say on the internet".
last time i checked if anyone has a right to have a problem with what people know about my personal life, that person would be me. and i have no problem with it whatsoever. i'm not ashame of any part of my life or any part of my personal life.
if i come off as a junkie who has too much careless sex, then that's your understanding of me. and i'm not denying for a second that sex and drugs are a part of my life, but isn't this 2007? what the fuck is the big deal?
does it make you, among so many others so uncomfortable that i'm comfortable enough in my own skin to be unapologetic about MY life?
and if any of those two creepy callers are on this board, you should leave a call back number. i don't bite. i have more free time than all of you combined.
most of this is response to private messages, in case a lot of you are confused.
and lms.. are you the guy who used to live in cali or something like that? i might remember you. you clearly knew who i was then 'cause you asked if i was sinister funkhouse. you were more than friendly. so why now, behind that monitor, are you trying to create more drama for everyone?
when did this board become more about miranda and xiu xiu dot org and not jamie's music?

Miranda just leads a wild life. I don't know where all this 'attention whore' nonsense is coming from. All she did on xiuxiu.org, and all she does on this message board is talk truthfully about her life. It's not like she's doing it to entertain or impress anyone.
Most of the time she brings up her crazy life, it's when other people start talking about it and asking questions. Does being comfortable enough with yourself to answer questions truthfully make one an attention whore? Ease off.

Miranda is a wonderful person, anyone who knows her knows that is a fact. You overly PC Xiu Xiu fans need to shut the fuck up and listen to what you are saying. All of this drama came from a quote that her father said. Look at what I just wrote. Look at it. You're calling her and sending her emails because of that.
Point: Leave Miranda alone, she's wonderful, she's amazing, and you need to stop being hipsters douchebags.
