thanks! i'm a little bit scared to go to work today though because the most busy show of the year is the same night as xiu xiu, they don't want me to not work that night but i also hate being a bitch. i also don't want to mention quitting yet because i haven't reeeally gotten the other job so i'm scared and nervous that i'll say the wrong thing and it's scary and all i really have to do today is shut up to be successful.

Correction on the Tour schedule. The Tampa show on Tues. Oct. 3rd is happening at the Orpheum. Not Transitions art gallery. The address is 1902 Republica de Cuba in ybor city. Also, the opening band scheduled for the show is Pirate Prude. mp3s are available at www.myspace.com/pirateprude

VanCan fans do not despair-- Xiu is booked for the Anza Club on Nov 2nd @ 9 pm. Check their myspace. Tickets, however, are not yet on sale.

Cong for Brums is opening; see thread on this board. Haven't seen any info out there on who's actually producing the event, but you can probably assume $15-$20. The Anza venue isn't a pub/bar per se, but it is licensed, so chances are 50-50 it'll be all ages--depends on whether/not they open their bar.

i dont understand how that 18+ or 21+ thing works.. for example, the mercury lounge nyc show was 21+ because it has a bar, but, the bowery also has a bar and it was 18+. what the hell?
