marilyn manson is the shit.
great live performance too.

I may have been like, 4 at the time, but that's no excuse; I wish I could have seen Sun Ra in concert.

my mom LOVES manson. has the biggest crush on him and twiggy. and as some of you might know, i've seen nine inch nails seven or eight times. it DOES get boring. very quickly. i also have a funny twiggy story. but i'll stick to the topic.
i've seen all of my all time favourites live. the stones sixteen times, radiohead a few, xiu xiu around five or six, morrissey, bjork, etc. the only person i want to see live that i haven't already is daniel johnston.
and radiohead a few more dozen times.

i see a lot of shows... i will always be pissed that i never got to see neutral milk hotel live, as well as the pogues (i'm not sure if i count their current incarnation)... oh, and joy division :-( but i wasn't listening to that kind of music at that age
seen (off the top of my head): xiu xiu (i've lost count... over 10, under 20) elvis costello (2) deerhoof (3) hidden cameras liars decemberists (5?) gang gang dance adult. (2) br. danielson castanets destroyer bjork death in june switchblade symphony siouxsie (2) devo (2) cake lcd soundsystem ladytron magnetic fields bright eyes this song is a mess but so am i (3 or 4?) young people why? (2) modest mouse (2) broken social scene
god, the list is huge... i'm a total live show whore... and i'm not going to include every band i've seen in festivals
that's enough for now
edit: thought of a few more: dresden dolls echo and the bunnymen (2) gogogo airheart rollins band (plus henry rollins spoken word) blood brothers gang of four mu
oh, and i have to see antony and the johnsons still

wow! i kinda want to do this, too. i've been to way too many shows. but i'm too lazy to get my ticket stubs, plus i know there will be some missing.
the most i've ever seen a band is the stones and xiu xiu, though. five or six to xiu xiu, and the stones around sixteen if i counted right.\
john knows how to have fun, though.

!!im going to add that to my list also. i can't believe i never thought of that. on my top ten for sure. how was it? how many band members were there? nine inch nails was the first band i was a fan of (downward spiral). after the fragile i lost interest though. well, after still. i still want to see trent live though (marilyn manson was the same. loved his music from smells like children, lost interest after holywood but seeing him live fulfilled my 14 year old self) at least for closure. hehe

i thought the fragile and still were great. especially the great below from the left side. i love that song.
and the hidden cameras are one of the best live bands to ever exist.

there are way too many to recall or list. i have ticket stubs from the ones at some venues, and even some of those i paid at the door, but those would only cover 1/3rd of the shows ive gone too. many a dollar has been spent on concerts.
the ones that stand out: the blow xiu xiu microphones bjork cat power the faint (circa 2001, AMAZING) anna oxygen.
i reaaaaaaallllly am so jelous of you have have seen owen pallett perform so many times. and the hidden cameras. i would go through so much just to see them.
learning the lie is one of my favorite records of all time. its so great.

in chronological order:
1. green day + my chemical romance 2. the soviettes + smoke or fire + the epoxies + against me! 3. assload of ska bands which ended with streetlight manifesto. 4. against me! + alkaline trio 5. outbreak + this is hell + bane + modern life is war.
plus a stupid amount of small local shows.
EDIT:
i totally thought this was asking about which bands you've already seen.

the hidden cameras are great live... when i saw them, they only took like 5 members on the tour with them, but it was still a great show... there were a lot of people at the show who had never heard of them due to a rumour that beck was going to play (he had done it the two previous weekends), but even the beck fans who were very confused got into the show
they didn't play "boys of melody" though, bastards

and to be honest, bear vs shark was THE best live show I've ever seen, sucks if you missed seeing them before they broke up.
some lamers were sitting down at the show, so the singer rand up to them and scream in their face. h to the x to the c.
