anyone going to any radiohead shows on this leg of the tour? i think they're playing small theatres everywhere. and i also hear that deerhoof is opening for them in california.
i got fifth row tickets to both dates here in toronto at the hummingbird center. FIFTH ROW!
i'm so excited, and i just want to know if anyone else here is seeing them.
or if anyone even likes radiohead as much as they like the xiu.

i stayed up all night to make sure i didn't oversleep to get a ticket for a new york date, but my internet died in the morning so i asked a friend to try and get me one, but he couldn't. whenever you talk about radiohead, and you have at least once before, it makes me sad.

christ, i'm sorry to hear that.
but if you want my advice, radiohead in a small venue is WELL WORTH SCALPER MONEY.
don't let the man get you down, man. get a fucking scalper ticket. it'll be so worth it.

I wish they would've had some Texas dates. Just two years ago I drove 23 hours to California to be at Coachella. Those were probably the best two days of my life. Please make sure and post every single detail, apistat.

its a good thing i got over radiohead a few years ago, they'd never come around this part of the map to begin with, plus from what i've read the ticket prices are outrageous

no, they're only like $70 canadian. that's not bad at all for radiohead. and you got over radiohead? how did you deal with that? what's to get over? you're talking in crazy talk, david.
radiohead are the smartest pop band in recent history.
they're like the deftones of numetal. don't get me started on how the deftones are peerless, yet get compared to a lot of numetal bands that were out in the mid nineties.

that's actually a lot like me and radiohead. xiu xiu, too. i have to be in just the right mood to listen to those two bands.
the rolling stones, however. i've never NOT been in the mood for.

i like the deftones.
and i thought this radiohead tour WAS a small venue tour. they're playing in a very small venue in toronto, i know that much. it's a theatre tour, isn't it? or is this just toronto?

Beware of scalping on the ultra-huge shows like radiohead. Unless you get yourself ebayed and certificated you'll have a huge chance of getting fucked on the street. Once I went to see Tom Waits at the Hammersmith, waiting in the return tickets line, and a fellow behind me got offered a ticket from this man who, honestly, looked totally honest, 130 quid later he found out that the seat on the ticket didn't exist... The ticket had watermarks and fine print and everything.
