i've always wanted to go to england.
the states has the most xiu fans, i think. but who really IS the biggest xiu xiu fan in the states? is it john? probably? should we put it to a vote? does it matter?

when i got my tattoo, i wanted it to look like "xiu xiu" was carved by a razor blade above the bird. now that it has faded a bit and become part of my skin, it doesn't look quite like it anymore, so i may talk to a tattoo artist about touching it up a bit.... see what they can do... it's been almost a year since i got it (yesterday was the 'bad' anniversary, for those of you who know the history of the tat)
as for biggest xiu xiu fan, i think it's difficult to guage... my obsession with them stems from my intense personal relationship to their music (with a couple songs having painful, deeply personal, or even life-affirming associations) that has lasted for a long time and caused me to do things that others might find creepy, or at least fanatical... but i think we all have those relationships to the songs, which is why so many of us have what others call "an obsession"...
