The guests on the board offering are simply trolling for e-mails addresses for SPAM! That's right.
Just join the IRC channel and do their strange invite ritual. If you go in there and name five bands and if [well, this one guy] likes three of them, you're invited. Just say captain beefheart and that's worth a five. I kid you not. It sucks trying to keep up a good ratio on indietorrents though. Sometimes close to impossible unless you can leak something that no one has or you download their most popular stuff and leave them on just to share.

Torrents are gay/too complicated, I just use soulseek or limewire (limewire mainly to find my 90's r&b songs).

i don't mind torrents for downloading a single album, because they don't totally devour my systems memory. but when downloading an entire series of anime or a 5 gig game, then they just wreck shit.
but it's faster to do it with torrents so, i deal.
