I search the forum to see if anyone'd already mentioned this, but no luck.
I remember in an interview or article somewhere it was mentioned what the photo on the cover of Knife Play was.. something about dead horses on a beach. Anyone have the link?
Haha, I just realised... sounds a lot like "The Ring", and the crazed horses jumping into the sea.

I've never seen the album cover for ti.. but now that I have I'd have to say its one of the worst album covers I've seen.  Hopefully the story behind it can redeem it, because knifeplay is my favorite xx cd.. (even though ive never seen the cover..) |

Its a decaying horse on a beach.
I'll try to scan it for you tonight, but I have no idea about the story behind it, or the comic inside.

yeah, i always found it hard to make out as well, but if you open the paper, it's obviously a dead horse... it makes it easier if you have the full image... is that trash in front of it?

i knew it was a horse lying on its side but i couldnt see particularly where it was lying down...

my favorite things about the knife play cover are the "when my mom died" sticker and the little blocks on the left that go [X] [X] etc.
the dead horse is cool but i would have preferred an unobscured dead horse.
