a few regular posters here (who shall remain nameless at the moment) are scheduled to interview jamie and caralee in december. they're working on questions, so they contacted me, and i suggested we post here, asking if anyone has any interesting ideas
so, is there anything you've always wanted to know about xiu xiu but were afraid to ask?
or is there something you would like to hear jamie or caralee talk about but you're not quite sure how to phrase it?
give us your ideas!

im sure he has probably answered this more than a dozen times. in some sort of sense.
i think we are about due for an original interview.
but how about, you get jamie to talk about knife play some! i'd love to hear more about knife play. any questions reguarding knife play would be awsome.

Ask him how he comes up with those little signing quotes. I am in awe of them. Also be sure to tell them we love them and that they should never change. And ask caralee about the vibrator she uses. I am intersted in knowing how the vibrator/xylophone or whatever setup works. MAybe ask her what brand it is?

ask him for a few pages of his unpublished sexual biography to be posted along with the interview. he knows how to make people laugh with his sexual blunders ...and/or how he got the names for some more obscure song titles, like "bog people", "clowne towne", "yellow raspberr", "dangerous you shouldn't be here" (although maybe that's what the sign said on the beach where the little girl drowned?", "apistat commander" how they drive like 600 miles to get to their next show in one day funny tour stories etc. the possibilities are endless

i really really really really really want to read that book. very badly.
i would ask him about other interviews and what kind of questions really pissed him off. worst/best ideas for vacations, general public advice, who (musically) he loves right now, what he wants to do in the near future.

i kind of want to read an interview that is filled with things about them that aren't related to music, favorite places to eat, favorite animal, embarrassing moments, etc. but i guess it doesn't really make muich sense

Give us those names! no i left the interviewers nameless to prevent everyone from contacting them privately for three reasons: 1- so they wouldn't find their mailboxes filled with questions/ angry messages that someone's question wasn't asked 2- sometimes, people may not know how to ask the question, but might have an interesting topic that has been on their mind, so it could spark discussion/possibly lead to an interesting question to be asked 3- one person's question might inspire a further, more interesting question from another forum member

'Clowne Towne' was the name of a house in Seattle that Jamie and maybe Caralee, and way too many other people lived/crashed at for a while.
