I assume he's talking about the american disc because I believe the european version is white with xiu xiu written in very small lettering at the bottom of the disc. The rodent wearing the tae kwon do uniform could possibly be Splinter but bares no resemblance to neither the comic book, movie, or television Splinter from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at all. To me it looks like the artwork is an original j-morrison drawing.

finally some relief from the nagging questions of "does la foret mean the forest or the drill?" some fool reviewed the album interpreting the translation as "the drill" and gave some bs interpretation of the drill to the feel of the album. btw, jamie, i got accordion solo! today, great work! "TASTE A LITTLE BIT OF IT, IT'S GOOD!"

You'll have to forgive me. I'm of the TMNT generation. Whenever I see anything resembling a rat dressed in a kimono, I think: HEROES IN A HALF SHELL, TURTLE POWER!
Is there a specific myth(s) you had in mind which led you to include this "kitsune"?

How the hell did people get "the drill" out of that? It's French for "forest." Even I know that and most of my French vocab is only smutty.

Yeah, but it's LA foret. Feminine. Not to mention there are trees on the cover art. Doh.
