I noticed some of you on here talking about Honeyhander..they are playing the CMJ festival this year, the fest is usually pretty amazing I'll probably trek out to NYC for this. Road trip anyone?

Nico (as in the amazing woman at numerous times in the velvet underground, not the blind melon album). it's hard to listen to the marble index and not see some parallels to xiu xiu in both mood and orchestration (and also excellence).

isn't gang gang dance a bunch of guys who helped harmony korine record SSAB Songs?
by the way, if you haven't heard of SSAB Songs, that is an album you all should here. so, i guess that goes in this thread, right?
