Thank you for sharing the link of the Lisbon show! What a fantastic performance. The addition of guitar to CN Tower is a new and great touch to the song.
I would love to hear any recordings from other shows as well if anyone has any more. I was told Whelan's (Dublin) sometimes records shows, but haven't been able to find that yet...

That's great, thank you! I have videos of all the songs from one show or another (and all the songs Owen played with Joel too I think) - I'll upload them to youtube when I get the chance. If there's anything anyone really wants before that let me know and I can send it The 3 shows I made were so amazing, I had the best week! And I'm so happy I finally got to hear A Bloody Morning live Btw did anyone hear Owen accompanying Patrick Wolf on 6 Music today? www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m001kxjv (last 20 mins) So great to hear them play together again - I'm forever jealous of my friends who saw Owen as a surprise guest at the Shepherd's Bush shows in 2007 (back when I was 15 and hadn't discovered either of them yet!) Now I'm totally convinced Owen is about to appear as a surprise guest next week at the first PW London shows I'm missing in 10 years (I had to put Owen's tour first so I'm only seeing Patrick in Glasgow) - that would be just my luck!!!

No danger of that, Cat! I’m on my way back to Canada would’ve been fun, tho Thanks everyone for coming to these concerts! I’m feeling reenergized with regard to “playing live”, hope to be back very soon

I don’t know if anyone’s going to see this in time, but Porgy & Bess are doing pay what you want livestream tickets for the show in Vienna tomorrow if anyone wants to watch me watch Owen porgy.at/events/11624/I’ve just landed in Gatwick, now I’m waiting to fly to Budapest (which worked out much cheaper than flying direct to Vienna!) Tomorrow I have to figure out Hungarian rail replacement buses so hopefully I will make it to Vienna, then I’m spending 3 nights in Prague, a night in Nuremberg, and having a day in Hamburg on the way home (finally going to make it back there after all the cancelled Elbphilharmonie shows!) The shows are so spaced out I couldn’t manage more than 3 in a week (and Katowice to Nuremberg looks like one hell of a journey!) but I’ve never been to Prague before so I’m excited to spend a couple of days there! Who else is coming?

Ah! Missing out this time.. I’m (almost) from Nürnberg so it’s a doubly sad thing that I can’t go. Saw it was in the Neues Museum - quite the place to have a concert! I bet you will have enjoyed that Cat and Lucyndaria! And the whole tour looks good, so many places that are great to go to!

Wow, lots of travelling! Hope the rail replacement busses were ok (sounds better than what you often get now with Deutsche Bahn - which is cancellations without notice or replacement..). I love train travel though! Wish I’d logged in a few days earlier, the livestream would have been good. Can’t make any of this tour, not been doing great this year at all. 2022/23 has been a bit sh**. Btw I did manage to go to the Berlin show earlier this year but how do you recognise each other that’s the question, I guess I would have needed a “hey, if you’re Cat please say hi” t shirt (I’m introverted+++) Music was great as always Glad I managed that concert, I’m pretty out of the way geographically these days! Aww I'm sorry, I hope things get better for you soon! I am usually first in the queue with an Owen t-shirt and In Conflict nails so hopefully I should be easy to find next time The replacement bus was fine actually, the most stressful journey was Prague to Nuremberg when I had a 9 mins to catch a connection in Cheb that was once every 2 hours and the first train was delayed 5-15 mins on route (just made it!) and when I nearly made myself late for my flight by getting an U-bahn the wrong way round a circle in Hamburg. It was nice to be able to get the train everywhere (I'm used to being separated by water from the rest of Europe!) and they were so much cheaper than UK trains! I had the most amazing time, it felt so dull having to go back to normal life! Vienna was with the Hidden Cameras again and Owen's set was the same as April, but the other shows were just Owen so there was time for a couple more songs. I finally got to hear Polar Vortex live again in Prague!!!! (I know I heard it lots in 2015-2019 but it feels like so many years ago and it is just the most beautiful song ever - I was really hoping for it but totally not expecting it <3) And I got to hear A Bloody Morning live for the second time in Nuremberg (apparently someone requested it!) And Owen played The Passions in Prague and Nuremberg too. There was a Q&A after the Prague show and they mentioned there was going to be a premiere of Dream Scenario (which Owen wrote the score for) at a cinema in Prague with a Q&A so I went to that the next night! I didn't want to leave Prague, it was so gorgeous! And it is full of cajovna tea houses - there used to be one in Glasgow run by a Czech guy which was my favourite place (it just closed down in the summer), it was like a magical tea cave down a wee lane with 80 teas from around the world, homemade food, Bohemian decor (mismatched cushions, brass elephants, etc), local art and live music. I managed to visit a few of them in Prague and they were just like it (although they were all unique!). I stayed beside the castle in Budapest so I could go up Fisherman's Bastion to see the views of the parliament building etc across the river with my very brief time there. My flight landed half an hour early so I ended up being able to see it at night as well as daytime! Vienna was also very brief (and very wet!) but I managed to go round the big Christmas market at the town hall square and there was another Christmas market near the venue which sold soup in bowls made of bread! Nuremberg was lovely, all the buildings were so pretty and I bought far too much lebkuchen And I finally made it back to the Elbphilharmonie after all these years (just need Owen there as well now!) - you can go up to the plaza for free and there's a viewing deck round the whole building. And I finally got to go back to Miniatur Wunderland which was the other thing I really wanted to do in Hamburg - it's the world's largest model railway system with tiny replicas of cities/places from all round the world and the detail is incredible. There are 100,000s of tiny people going about their lives and doing funny things and there's even a Lindt chocolate factory in Switzerland that makes real bars of chocolate you can eat! I was there for 4 hours and still felt like I rushed it!
