Recently noticed the merch site is no longer there! I was hoping to buy merch from Heartland and In Conflict, and hopefully see if some merch from Island was released. Hopefully it will be back soon!

I don't know what the merch site looked like before, so I can't confirm what is "not there" That said, we're in the process of getting special Island shirts ready for the spring, along with a revamp of the online store. We have FINALLY confirmed a release date for the vinyl reissues of the first two albums. COVID created a lot of delays with Domino's pressing schedule, but we're on track again, hooray!

That’s amazing! Thank you so much, Owen! Can’t wait for the new merch and the reissues (and any other news that may come!).

Awesome news about the vinyl reissues. Speaking of vinyl, Owen, I recently acquired the single LP version of In Conflict for those lazy days when I don't want to be flipping through the four sides of the 2-LP version. And I was quite surprised to realize that Infernal Fantasy is the last track on that version! Was wondering if that means you think of Soldiers Rock and the last track to be non-integral parts of the album? Like, is the single-LP version the truest version of the album, or just a version where certain decisions had to be made to fit it onto one record? Regardless, I for one am deeply grateful that you kept Soldiers Rock in the 2XLP and streaming versions--it is one of my favorite songs of yours.

The vinyls arrived today. Haven’t investigated them yet as I got them for my youngest who is away at uni for now. I doubt I’ll survive till Easter unless someone knows what is on the download set?
[edit] Only had to wait for the info to be posted and then the streaming sites have them as well.

Jules, are the downloads any different from what are on the LPs? Spent the day listening through all three. They all sound excellent. Thrilled to have Spectrum 14th Century on vinyl as it's long been a favorite. Used to listen to it on repeat in the lab in grad school.

I just noticed this in the interview that was posted today - my download code for the EPs doesn't have any bonus tracks...??? I haven't had a chance to play the vinyls yet but the bonus tracks for the albums were included in the downloads. Have they been missed out or am I just missing something?
"Bonus tracks on The Two EPs include Pallett’s cover of The Strokes (“Hard to Explain”), their contribution to the David Shrigley tribute album Worried Noodles (“Joys”), and a previously unreleased outtake from their 2014 album In Conflict (“Contra O Capitalismo”)."

Oooh good catch, thank you Cat. I will look into it. The three bonus tracks for The Two EPs should be downloadable.
The downloadable versions btw are the same master as the vinyl pressing. Glad you guys like them... they sound so good to my ears! A/Bing "Song Song Song" in particular is such a trip haha

Ah ok thanks, I've found the ones I don't have on youtube so at least I can still hear them Yes they sound amazing, especially Young Canadian Mothers and X which I'm used to hearing as versions ripped from the vinyls!

Hi folks.
I got download codes for all 3 together by mail and mine (well I say mine they really belong to Ed) include all the extra tracks ( including on the Two EP’s set)
It was nice to get Contra O Capitalismo as an extra bonus bonus. The quality of the digital wav files is way better than my cut from original vinyl for YCM.
I’ve always loved the Many Ives version of CN Towers and even better that I can stream all this stuff endlessly when I’m on the move / work. I do have a digit mix tape on my iPhone with these and some other stuff I culled from various online sessions over the years (Inteview, Paris 1919, Possibly Maybe, Actors Revenge and even Danny’s Song)… sorry off on one.. anyway these are all great and treasured and much better quality.
The big question is will we ever get The Box and Spaceship Earth soundtracks in physical form…. I’m never satisfied am I 👻

Just saw all the merch in the Hidden Cameras story! Hopefully most of the stuff will be available online at some point? Particularly intrigued by the shirts and whatever the “Owen Pallet: Japan 2012” and “Owen Pallett with Jennifer Castle (I think?)” seem to be!
