I forgot the Truman Show.
Eyes Wide shut is very, very bad.
So is Van Helsing, which I saw last night.

eyes wide shut was excellent, crazy pants. so original and so dark. secret societies are very intriguing to me.
Van Helsing was shit. i saw it at the drive in and i had more fun gazing adoringly at my '84 dodge 11 passenger van. and being wrapped up in a blanket with my gf.

biodome was a real life changer for me too.... pauly is like our generation's north american ghandi...
rushmore has been my favourite movie for a few months now. i like it a lot more than royal tenenbaums, not that i don't love the royal tenenbaums. it freaked me out trying to figure out what it was i saw in Max Fischer that reminded me of myself so much. now i think i need therapy.

isnt this about moving movies?
pulp fiction..?
anyway. stu mentioned a bunch i would have.
few i recommend.
vietnam - ghosts of war cry freedom (its about steven biko and a journalist, he was in south africa in the 70's. good movie) the killing fields - (the khmer rouge in cambodia) fear and loathing - (why i tried drugs) clockwork orange - fortells of government control, gangwar and so on. not so much moving. mind blank.

i didn't really intend for the lists to be limited to movies that make you shed a tear, moreso just ones that give you a different perspective before. like it's a bug's life. i never knew insects could be such colourful characters. i swore i would never make another ant stew again. and in other news i have discovered a small pile of what i believe to be powdered laundry detergent on my belly, how it got there is anyone's guess. THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO DANCE!

i spat green this morning after i brushed my teeth. figure that one out.
i figured out what you got by moving. i dont think comedies effect people in the same way.

pulp fiction was more than a comedy.. like near the end when's jules is goin off about walking the earth and being the shepard.. and tons of other shit.. i was moved
"I'm prepared to scour the the Earth for that motherfucker. If Butch goes to Indochina, I want a nigger waiting in a bowl of rice ready to pop a cap in his ass."

i was refering to its use as a "moving" movie, but now i see your point.
oh, and about bowling for columbine. i hate it. i hate michael moore, i hate the people that watch that movie, and i hate bit fat white guys that ride off of a stupid wave of anti-american sentiment.
