i dont know if this has become off-topic or not (i only read the first page of this thread) but...
i am a christian and i can honestly say i dont judge people of a different faith. im sure that sound really lame and a lie, but its true. one of my best friends at school is an antichrist goth person that always wears black, cuts himself for fun, the whole lot. i think hes fucked up, but i still think hes a cool guy. hes nice and everything. at least 75% of my closest friends are non-christians and i can tolerate. christians that act like how the originator of this thread is talking about, the people that quote bible verses to win arguments, and the kinds of people who yell when they talk about god and every other word is hallelujah... i think they give christianity a bad name. i can come out and say it, those people are annoying and i believe that religion is a personal thing, and because of the many "sects" of christianity, i get sick of it. i believe that people, if following the main rules, should worship how they want and not be catholic, or anglican or baptist or whatever. i'm a christian, not any of those. i only go to church occasionally, but i still pray to god and worship him in my own way. i think that is the premise of religion, and is what i follow.
i know im gonna get shit for the first sentence of this post

yeah... only follow the main rules... it's okay, just make christianity what you want it to be.. that seems to be the premise of the faith these days, "If you don't like it, change it as much as you want until it fits your needs." Ever wonder why there is over 30 000 different "sects" or denominations of christianity..
