I'm reading Rogue State: A guide to the world's only superpower by William Blum and I was wondering if there were any other books some of you might be able to suggest.
I just want good interesting reads.

Catcher in the Rye if you haven't already read it.
Something Wicked This Way Comes, by Ray Bradbury if you like his writing style, it's all poetic and quite cool.
Life of Pi was good, yes.
If you want some insight the Eastern Philosophy way, read Siddhartha.

no logo - forget about all that punk bullshit around this book, its pretty good.
angelas ashes - unique writing style
all i can think of. anything by jack white is good, the singing stone and that series. (its a fictional story about the formation of camelot and the such)
oh yeah, and the coming of the king, by tolstoy. hard to read, but its pretty fucking good.

the great divorce - c.s. lewis - great, attention keeping read. about heaven and hell the prophet - khalil gibraan - short, philosophy book about a fictional prophet giving his last instruction to a town he has lived in for years. this book has had tremendous impact on me animal farm - george orwell - communism on an...animal farm. quite whimsical heart of darkness - joseph conrad - VERY heavy read, but very profound. fairly short, apocalypse now is an adaptation of the book survivor - chuck palahniuk - brilliant writer. equally fucking hilarious. a lot of stuff in this book has been really socially prophetic in the past few years. highly recommended

i figure id get some response like that it was a very slow moving book so it took a lot to get through it but it was just so full of interesting theories of how human nature would respond to thet type of political power. i personally loved it.

why the shit-damn-fuck-hell-ass-bus should it matter why i read it. it was a good book. all mrbad wanted was a good interesting read. also me and mike disagree on a lot of issues but he brings up tonnes of good arguements towards the bush-gore election. a good book for such a shitty person.
