something is a fact ie it exists if its attributes are indisputable to everyone. not to say only these things exist, just that at least these things exist.
take your table. ok, it looks different from all angles. but does that mean that seeing it horizontally you would no longer objectively claim that it is a six foot round red table just because it appears differently at that particular time? or would you take your different perspective, position, etc into consideration?

Well, you can also look at all of this scientifically too. Everything that you perceive is just a bunch of chemical reactions that occur in your mind - how everything looks, how everything feels, etc. But you can't really be sure that what your brain is registering is actually what is there because there's no way to really determine that. You can measure brain activity, and that's about it. HOWEVER, what you can be sure of is that there actually IS something there because there has to be something physically present to excite the chemicals, initiating their reaction. Yeah? The only thing that you can be sure of is that the chemicals (you) are there and there is something out there making those chemicals react.
So there is a you and there is a reality, but we can't be sure of what everything is really like.
