The police are out there to make sure people don't participate fully in democracy? That's a facinating theory.
My opinion is that violence isn't needed for a "revolution." That depends what your definition of revolution is though. I believe there are instances in history where governments have been overthrown at their own game.
Violence isn't an effective means of revolution. It weakens support for the cause. It also isn't acceptable in my opinion. Although, it depends on the circumstances. There are scenarios where the only means of creating any change is through force. That is when force should be used only when a clear solution has been formulated and the problems are unbearable. Many thousands of people die in revolutions so one has to make sure what they're dying for is something good.

revolution is a pipe dream y'all. made up by the bastards that keep ya here. the only real revolution that can be untainted is the one that can happen inside us all. the sweetest revolution that could happen is the take care of your brother revolution. what would happen then? oh and hockey is also in desperate need of a revolution.
